On March 1, 2019, the Principality of Andorra and the State of Vatican City / Holy See enter the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA).
These entries bring the number of countries in the European Payments Area to 36: The 28 member states plus Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Monaco, San Marino, the Principality of Andorra and the City of Vatican / Holy See.
All EPC participants will be able to send or receive SCT (SEPA Credit Transfer) , SCT Inst (SEPA Instant Credit Transfer) , as well as SDD (SEPA Direct Debit) to EPC participants in the Principality of Andorra and the state of the Vatican, as their financial institutions adhere to these regimes .
