Accor, a French hotel group, owns, manages, and franchises hotels, resorts, and holiday residences worldwide. It is the leading hotel group in Europe and the sixth largest globally.
The group is present in more than one hundred countries and has 5100 addresses which receive millions of guests each year.
The organic growth of the ACCOR group has gradually led it to manage several hundred accounts opened in France in more than 10 banks, generating on average 25 daily lines of statements per account in AFB120 format.
Such a high volume of data prompted the ACCOR group to implement automation and control processes, enabling close monitoring of sensitive processing chains. Furthermore, it became increasingly urgent to trace and secure the end-to-end accounting chain linking the ERP and the new TMS.
By deploying NEOFI as a secure exchange platform, the group was able to make all its applications communicate , while taking into account the rules imposed by the IT department.
ACCOR called upon NEOFI to retrieve account statements and then redistribute them to the group's various financial systems in a fully automated and controlled manner.
NEOFI verifies the accuracy of account statements before automatically initiating the accounting process. The monitoring dashboard displays all the steps involved in each processing step. If an issue arises during a process, it is immediately displayed and alerts are sent via email, facilitating a swift resolution.
The platform also allows for the management of payments, bank returns and account statements , providing the necessary flexibility to adapt to the requirements of subsidiaries according to their country and sometimes specific format.
The gains generated by the implementation of the solution are substantial, both in terms of economics and the time freed up to devote to other treasury tasks.
