This major retail chain needed to automate the exchange of information between two environments from two different worlds : on the one hand, the recently launched online shopping platform shared by all franchisees and offered by the national headquarters, and on the other hand, the franchisee's own information system for managing products and inventory. One of the project's unique aspects was the application of VAT, which can vary for the same item depending on how it is purchased.
The NEOFI Link solution automates the exchange between these two heterogeneous systems and uses conditional rules linked to lookup tables to assign the correct VAT rate.
Franchise teams are thus autonomous in managing the exchange solution because they have been trained on NEOFI's configuration. They can intervene quickly to adjust the exchange processes.
A few days of analysis, installation, and testing were required to implement the NEOFI solution; it was simply a matter of configuring formats and processes without ever writing a single line of code .
The solution also automatically manages the collection, updating, and distribution of reports for management control.
Faced with a heterogeneity of operating systems and complex VAT management, this major retailer was surprised by the speed of the solution's implementation. Now self-sufficient, the IT and accounting teams update their interfaces and reports themselves.
