French hotel group, Accor owns, manages and franchises hotels, tourist resorts and vacation residences around the world. It is the leading hotel group in Europe and the sixth worldwide.
The group is present in more than a hundred countries and has 5,100 addresses which receive millions of guests each year.
The organic growth of the ACCOR group has gradually led it to manage several hundred accounts in France opened in more than 10 banks, generating on average 25 daily statement lines per account in AFB120 format.
Such volume has prompted the ACCOR group to implement automation and control processes, thus making it possible to closely supervise sensitive processing chains. In addition, it was becoming increasingly urgent to trace and secure the end-to-end accounting chain linking the ERP and the new TMS.
By deploying NEOFI as a secure exchange platform, the group was able to communicate all its applications , while taking into account the rules imposed by the IT department.
ACCOR called on NEOFI to retrieve account statements and then redistribute them to the group's various financial systems in a fully automated and controlled manner.
NEOFI checks the conformity of account statements before automatically launching the accounting process. The tracking dashboard displays all the steps that make up each processing process. If an unfortunate event occurs during a process, it is immediately displayed and alerts are sent by messaging, which facilitates rapid intervention to resolve it.
The platform also makes it possible to manage payments, bank returns as well as account statements , which provides the necessary flexibility to adapt to the requirements of subsidiaries depending on their country and their sometimes specific format.
The gains generated by the implementation of the solution are substantial, both in economic terms and in the time freed up to devote to other treasury tasks.
