Moongy manages the incompatibility of account statement formats between the ERP and the treasury platform

MoOngy (formerly Hiq Consulting) is a network of consulting companies for the Engineering and IT professions. Their objective: “to help European companies find the skills necessary for the success of their projects”. The group has 30 companies present in around ten European countries.

A format conversion problem

To support its growth and manage its cash flow, MoOngy deployed the KYRIBA cash flow application which retrieves bank account statements in MT940 format. But this format was not the one expected by the WorkDay ERP, the deployment of which was launched just after the implementation of the cash application, and the KYRIBA solution used was incapable of converting an MT940 into XML camt.053 . Finally, when the group wanted to extend the deployment of the Workday ERP to its various subsidiaries, one of them used an ERP which generated a file whose structure was incompatible with that expected by WorkDay and the mapping of certain fields was sometimes conditioned on values ​​entered in other fields.

This incompatibility of formats between that of the statements and that expected by the Workday ERP blocked the deployment of the latter. It was therefore necessary to quickly find a reliable and proven solution from a publisher expert in workflow management and format conversion. The solution had to be autonomous, capable of collecting files, converting them then sending them to WorkDay while maintaining perfect traceability of the processing carried out.

MoOngy streamlines its banking communication

The NEOFI rules engine made it possible to quickly implement a simple solution in order to respond to the initial problem on the one hand and to allow MoOngy to better communicate with its various subsidiaries on the other hand.

NEOFI was configured to launch automatic processes for collecting, converting and uploading files to the WorkDay ERP, which helped resolve interoperability issues between the group's applications. Since then, any problem processing files generates an alert which is sent by email to the group and to NEOFI.

The project was carried out remotely, via the SaaS offer. After configuring the processing, it was enough to pull the VPN links with the 2 applications concerned for production.

Today the processes run in complete autonomy and the processing is managed by the NEOFI team. In the event of a problem, responsiveness is immediate !
