MoOngy (formerly Hiq Consulting) is a network of consulting firms specializing in engineering and IT. Their goal: "to help European companies find the skills necessary for the success of their projects." The group comprises 30 companies operating in about ten European countries.
To support its growth and manage its cash flow, MoOngy had deployed the KYRIBA treasury application, which retrieves bank statements in MT940 format. However, this format was not the one expected by the WorkDay ERP system, whose deployment began immediately after the treasury application was implemented, and the KYRIBA solution used was unable to convert an MT940 file to camt.053 XML. Finally, when the group wanted to extend the Workday ERP deployment to its various subsidiaries, one of them was using an ERP system that generated a file whose structure was incompatible with that expected by WorkDay, and the mapping of certain fields was sometimes conditional on values entered in other fields.
This incompatibility between the data formats of the statements and those expected by the Workday ERP system was hindering its deployment. A reliable and proven solution from a software vendor specializing in data flow management and format conversion was therefore urgently needed. The solution had to be self-contained, capable of collecting files, converting them, and then sending them to Workday while maintaining complete traceability of the processing.
's rules engine made it possible to quickly implement a simple solution to address the initial problem on the one hand and to allow MoOngy to better communicate with its various subsidiaries on the other.
NEOFI was configured to launch automated processes for collecting, converting, and uploading files to the WorkDay ERP system, which resolved interoperability issues between the group's applications. Since then, any problem during file processing generates an alert that is emailed to both the group and NEOFI.
The project was carried out remotely, via the SaaS offering. After configuring the processes, it was simply a matter of establishing the VPN links with the two applications involved for production deployment.
Today, the processes run completely autonomously , and the NEOFI team manages the treatments. In case of a problem, the response is immediate !
