Created in 2008, the REDEN group is an independent producer of renewable energy of photovoltaic origin, which focuses on the development, construction and operation of photovoltaic power plants in France and internationally.
Created in 2008, REDEN is a French producer of photovoltaic energy. A key player in the energy transition, its core business consists of developing and supporting the construction and operation of photovoltaic power plants in France and internationally from start to finish. In constant development since its creation, the group is now present in eight countries. The director of financial operations Vincent WATTIGNIER explains to us how NEOFI made it possible to automate file exchanges between the ERP and HRIS on the one hand, and KYRIBA on the other.
We recently deployed KYRIBA to manage our cash flow and payment campaigns.
However, our Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP could not automatically manage the naming rules expected by KYRIBA. The launch of each payment campaign therefore required manual action to rename each file . We noticed the same problem with our human resources management application when issuing salary transfers.
As these business applications are incapable of automatically communicating with each other, we set out to find a solution that could resolve this interoperability problem.
When sending a third-party transfer (salary or supplier), KYRIBA requires that the file name must contain the following 4 variable elements: a timestamp, a prefix indicating the type of transfer (salary, SCT or international transfer), a code identifying the entity debited and a trigram recalling the bank debited. To construct this name, as soon as NEOFI receives this file, it performs duplicate and consistency checks, then it opens the XML file and reads the debited account and the tags to identify the type of transfer. Based on the account number, NEOFI requests a table powered by REDEN to collect the code of the debited entity and that of the bank involved. Using this data, NEOFI can then rename the file and then send it to KYRIBA .
Thanks to an integrated reporting module, NEOFI sends each morning by email a report on the previous day's processing and any pitfalls that occurred.
Above all, we have removed from the process any human action, a source of risk of handling error or manipulation of payment files.
Generally speaking, the solution provided by NEOFI saves time .
The company AVIZO , integrator of the KYRIBA platform for REDEN, advised us to contact NOEFI when we explained to them our desire to secure and simplify the processing of payment files.
NEOFI had a software component already dealing with this subject and therefore requiring few adaptations to the REDEN case. NEOFI also made it possible to have no impact on the existing infrastructure between the different IS at REDEN.
