Thanks to NEOFI, REDEN automates the import of its payment campaigns into KYRIBA

Founded in 2008, the REDEN group is an independent producer of renewable energy of photovoltaic origin, which focuses on the development, construction and operation of photovoltaic power plants in France and internationally.

Founded in 2008, REDEN is a French photovoltaic energy producer. A key player in the energy transition, its core business is developing and supporting the end-to-end construction and operation of photovoltaic power plants in France and internationally. Constantly expanding since its inception, the group now operates in eight countries. Vincent Wattignier, Director of Financial Operations, explains how NEOFI has automated file exchanges between the ERP and HRIS systems on the one hand, and KYRIBA on the other.

What problem led you to turn to NEOFI?

We recently deployed KYRIBA to manage our cash flow and payment campaigns.

However, our Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system couldn't automatically handle the naming conventions required by KYRIBA. Therefore, launching each payment campaign required manual renaming of each file . We encountered the same problem with our human resources management application when issuing salary transfers.

Since these business applications are unable to communicate automatically with each other, we set out to find a solution that could resolve this interoperability problem.

Can you explain what has been installed to address this issue?

When a third-party transfer (salary or supplier) is sent to KYRIBA, the file name must contain the following four variable elements: a timestamp, a prefix indicating the transfer type (salary, SCT, or international transfer), a code identifying the debited entity, and a trigram indicating the debited bank. To generate this name, as soon as NEOFI receives the file, it performs duplicate and consistency checks, then opens the XML file and reads the debited account and the tags used to identify the transfer type. Using the account number, NEOFI queries a table populated by REDEN to retrieve the code of the debited entity and the code of the bank involved. With this data, NEOFI can then rename the file and send it to KYRIBA .

Thanks to an integrated reporting module, NEOFI sends a report by email every morning of the previous day's processing and any potential pitfalls that occurred.

What benefits have you derived from the deployed solution?

We have eliminated all human intervention, thereby reducing handling errors and the risk of altering payment files.

In general, the NEOFI solution increases security and saves time .

Why did you choose NEOFI?

AVIZO the integrator of the KYRIBA platform for REDEN, advised us to approach NEOFI when we explained our desire to secure and simplify the processing of payment files.

NEOFI already had a software component that addressed this issue and therefore required little adaptation to the REDEN case. NEOFI thus avoided having to modify the architecture of REDEN's various IT systems.
